We recently discovered the easiest way to achieve perfectly crisp rockfish in under 15 minutes. We love this lean, mild fish. Its sweet flavor with a nutty accent lends itself well to multiple cooking techniques, making it one of our top sellers. Because of its versatility, we thought, “Why not try air frying it?” Once we got the process down, we quickly realized this may be our new favorite way to enjoy rockfish. If you’re ready to get your fish (air) fry on, then let’s get going!

Air Fried Rockfish Recipe

Serves: 3-4

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 12 minutes

Total: 17 minutes

  • 1 lb wild-caught rockfish fillet
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup Panko
  • 1 tbsp. Paprika
  • 1 tbsp. Desired seasonings (salt, pepper, Old Bay, etc.)

Spray your air fryer with non-stick cooking spray and preheat to 370°.

Slice your rockfish fillet into 3-4 pieces and set aside.

Crack your eggs into a bowl and beat. Add your Panko to a separate bowl and mix in your seasonings.

Coat your rockfish pieces in egg and then in the Panko mixture. Place into preheated air fryer and air fry for 12 minutes.
